Never Come Close
I have heard the expression; Friends are Flowers in the Garden of Life. This rings so true for me and my garden is blooming so wonderfully!! When I look back at my life, I have been so blessed!! There have been so many people that I have touched and been touched by. But reality is sometimes sad. I just had a friend pass away at 52 years old and it was so sad to be at her funeral and realize that I'm getting older (and wiser??) too. May you find peace Eden in the afterlife and may your eternal garden of Eden be beautiful beyond compare! And thank you to all my friends of past, present and future for enriching my life and making my personal garden so breathtaking to wonder through in my mind!!

They say you're over the hill when you get to a certain age but age is truly only a perspective. It is not the amount of time you live but the amount of living in your time. What is important is that you have a guide to follow...a light at the end of the tunnel to help you reach your goal. There will be rough spots and storms to weather and it all depends on how you handle that and who you have with you to help you through it~ Sometimes when the winds shift you just have to adjust you're sail. Yet people don't want to work hard for anything anymore. It seems like they want it handed to them...nice and easy without the sweat equity. It doesn't work that way, you have to show that you deserve what you receive. What goes around, comes around. You will be treated the way you treat others, that fickle finger of fate will point at you and you have to be ready to take it. So don't give up. There is help out there if you at least look for it! Remember to breath, accept and find some inner peace in your heart.Labels: Outer Banks NC
You've heard the expression "stop to smell the roses" but so many in today's world have truly missed and forgotten how to do just that. They rush through each day running and running in circles that lead them nowhere. Yet all around them there are moments of peace, moments of love, moments of beauty that they don't see because of their eyes being closed. If only more people would take the time to discover some peace, tell someone they love them or take a moment to admire the kind of beauty that comes from within.
