I'm ready to be a millionaire!!

Good Lord! I had the week from hell last week & I'm so ready to just chuck it all & be a bumm for awhile...they get great benefits from the U.S. Government don't they? It really is a RAT RACE where we all go full blast but don't get the water passed to us and don't get the GOLD Medal & the glory! I just don't understand why sometimes people expect so much from you & then don't understand when you don't meet their professional needs!! Why is that? Did you tell them that you would be a super employee forsaking all others including family so that you would exceed all of their expectations? work without pay? allow yourself to get kicked around like a dog? does ANYONE get paid enough for that? And my favorite is this corporate downsizing crap....basically they don't want to pay you what you're worth & want everything for nothing except themselves who want to get paid the most for taking the credit for what you did!! so then you open your own business and work 24-7 to just make ends MEET!!
Yah...I'm alil tired of the bullshit...but you could tell that, couldn't you?

Music to my Ears!!

What a fabulous weekend!! The music, weather & people were great!!! Had the Smooth Jazz Festival this weekend in town & it was awesome! David Benoit (see picture) was really talented (composer of Peanuts tunes & such) and that 9 foot Steinway sounded like heaven!! We jammed the whole weekend long and The Brunch on the River at my house was a huge success!! God! I love it when a plan comes together!! There are so many avenues for music, so many different tastes and styles!And I love them all...Especially LIVE and IN COLOR! I have seen so many bands in my life that if I had all the money I have spent on concerts I would own a lot of property!! LOL But to me? It was worth every single worthless penny!! Did anyone see the full moon come up on Friday!?? Wow...It was really really beautiful on the lake! I have not seen one that nice in a very long time and I was sitting right next to the love of my life! Like I said....WHAT a fabulous weekend!! I really hope yours was too!!

A beautiful day in the Neighborhood!

Man! It is such a gorgeous day here I want to play all day but alas I can't. Too much to do and always too little time! It's been so HOT here and I'm really tired of my spouse who thinks if we turn the air on we will become instantly poor people!! Luckily we can jump on that sailboat I mentioned earlier and cool off in that Great Lake....Wish you all could join me. Have a Free Jazz Festival in my little river town this weekend so I will be staying cool with the cool jazz of Rick Braun & David Benoit!! Having friends for Brunch on Sunday too...So better stop now & start doing what I really am suppose to be doing with is cleaning and cooking!! Have a great cool weekend all!

Well, here I am trying to do my very first Blog & I'm feeling like a virgin who's not sure what to do next...Is there someone who is bloggin' savvy who will help me be all I can be? It's been so long since I was last a virgin, I'm really not sure whether I can handle this or not!!
Just a little bit about me....I'm blonde with Blue eyes, 5'5" about 140 pds., married with children (2) and living by an Eastern Great Lake that I enjoy sailing my 26' Soveral on. I work part time and play full time. I enjoy watching movies & spending quality time with family & friends. I enjoy photography, outdoor sports, traveling (Image is of my trip to Ft. Myers Beach) & trying new things...Be it food, drink, music, people or pleasure! I've written alot of poetry and will post some on occation if I think you all would like it. I'll stop now & see what happens......
